We use high quality Screen Printing and Embroidery to decorate garments with your School logo/designs.
Printing
Screen Printing is suited to larger designs and looks great on t-shirts.
Screen Printing is a printing technique that involves applying a stencil to a porous silk or Polyester screen. The stencil forms open areas of mesh that once applied with a "squeegee" allows ink to pass onto the garment below, creating a sharp edged image.
Also known as "Silk Screen Printing" or "Silk Screening". The process uses seperate screens for each colour of the design.
Embroidery
Embroidery is suited to smaller designs. Perfect for school logos and badges.
The embroidery process is achieved by transferring your logo/design to a digital format using our embroidery software.
Once this is complete, the design is then uploaded to our state of the art embroidery machines.
Each digitised logo created using this method is called a "jacquard" and is unique to you and yours to keep if you so wish.
The word "jacquard" is named after the French inventor, Joseph Marie Jacquard, who invented the "jacquard loom" in 1801, which could automatically weave complicated patterns.
It is stored on our database and used for repeat orders.
Embroidery is suited to all garments but looks great on Polo shirts, sweat shirts, Fleeces and heavy garments in general.
Printing and Embroidery is often used on the same garment to give a complete customised look.
e.g. School badge embroidered to left chest position and team name printed across the shoulders.
Transfer (Heat Press) Printing
We also use Transfer Printing to decorate garments.
This is achieved by Heat Pressing cut vinyl & other materials onto the garment.
This method of printing is ideal for sports kit numbering and can be washed at 40 degrees like any other garment.
However, for large quantities it is more suitable to Screen Print as it cheaper and more durable.
